| Dazzlin' Yorkies is a small in-home breeding program of Champion Yorkshire Terriers located in beautiful Eastern Tennessee. Welcome to our little place on the web to introduce ourselves, and share our passions in life with you. Held in highest regard in my life are my 2 and 4 legged children, as well as my wonderful husband, Drew. Without the love and support of my 2 legged family, I could never have made my dreams come true with my 4 legged children. |
| I grew up exhibiting American Cocker Spaniels with my parents as a child, and spent several years as the director of a national cocker rescue as a young adult. It was during this time I met a yorkie for the first time. It wasn't long until I knew I had to have one of these little creatures, to go with my wonderful Cocker, Charm as a pet for our family. Not long after getting my first yorkie, I was bitten hard by the show bug, and purchased my first "show yorkie". That's another story for another day, but I am proud to say that my first show dog finished his championship with 4 majors and a group placement in 3 weekends, then went on to achieve rank as #2 Yorkie in the country in breed points before coming home to live the good life of being a spoiled rotten stud muffin. He finished 2007 as the #10 yorkie in the US in breed points. I couldn't have been more proud of my baby boy...or more thankful to his loving handler, Trish Kulessa for what a fantastic job she did with him.. and loving him as much as I do. |

| We have now established a breeding program to produce our own next show dogs here at Dazzlin' We breed each litter with incredible care and concern for not only the conformation of the breed, but for excellent health and temperament as well. We strive for as close to the "perfect package" here at Dazzlin', and for that reason are extremely selective about the dogs we choose to exhibit to represent our hard work and the hard work of the breeders who came before us that went into the making of our dogs. Our first homebred boy quickly finished his championship, expertly handled by Trish Kulessa. Our second homebred boy has now hit the rings with Trish, and is well on his way to achieving his championship. . |

| Obviously not every yorkie we breed make it into the show ring, so we do on occasion have pet puppies available for loving homes. Typically these puppies are older than what you'd find from local back yard breeders, as we are truly breeding for ourselves, and our own next show dog. Placing a puppy at a young age defeats our entire purpose of breeding the litter in the first place. We will never place a puppy before 12 weeks of age, minimum. This is important for socialization of the puppy as well as our own evaluation of each puppy's personality so the perfect match in a pet home can be found. We put tremendous time, love, effort and money into each and every puppy we bring into this world, and think it is very apparent when you come to meet our babies. |
